September Highlight: CBD Hemp Products
This month, we’re highlighting CBD products, which have been steadily gaining popularity in the health and wellness industry. CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is one of 113 cannabinoids found in cannabis. Unlike THC (tetrohydrocannabinol), CBD does not have psychoactive effects when taken. Because of this, CBD is being clinically researched for its medicinal properties. Studies have shown CBD can help with pain, nausea/vomiting, convulsions and seizures, psychotic disorders, inflammation, anxiety, depression, and even cancer. While clinical studies and trials have been limited in the past, research is becoming more of a possibility as the healing properties of CBD continue to be discovered. CBD can be taken in the form of tinctures, concentrates, and capsules, and can be applied topically as well.
