Hot Maca Chocolate
For those of you who might not be familiar with maca, it comes from a root that is grown in South America, mostly in Peru. Maca balances hormones and boosts energy. While maca is not strong in taste, it adds a creamy texture when dissolved or blended that pairs nicely with cacao and/or peanut butter. Maca is also considered an adaptogen, which means it help your body adapt to stress-inducers and illness. We hope you enjoy incorporating maca into your diet. What better way to start than with this rich, yet guilt-free recipe for hot chocolate?
