Holiday Mulled Wine
INGREDIENTS
1 bottle of red wine
1 cup of apple cider
1/3 cup sugar (try a white sugar alternative, maple sugar tastes great, we also have monk fruit sweetener and coconut sugar in store)
1 cup fresh cranberries
2 oranges (juice and peel, but try to remove any pulp)
2 whole cinnamon sticks
1 tbs whole cloves
1tbs star anise
DIRECTIONS
All you have to do is add all the ingredients to a slow cooker, and let it cook on high for approximately 30 minutes. It smells delicious while its cooking!
Serving: about 5-6 cups
** Want to make a non-alcoholic version? Replace the red wine with 2 cup cranberry juice and do 2 cups apple cider instead of 1**
